Engineer Nisreen Kayyali
Founded in 1999 by Architect Nisreen Ahmad Kayyali in Amman, Jordan, Nisreen Kayyali Consulting Engineers specializes in diverse project types, including residential, commercial, religious, educational, and hospitality projects. In 2015, the company relocated to Dubai, ushering in a new era of professionalism, creativity, and broader exposure. They focus on creating innovative, environmentally-conscious designs that align with clients’ visions, complemented by an in-house interior design department for seamless integration. Nisreen Kayyali has a strong global network of design firms and material suppliers through their national and international projects.

her story
Nisreen Kayyali, born in Libya, earned her undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Jordan in Amman, and she completed an architecture program in Brazil. Recognized as “most likely to succeed” in university, she has indeed fulfilled that expectation, founding and leading two successful consultancy firms over the past two decades.
She created her path in architecture and gained popularity in the MENA region. After working for some of the largest architecture firms in Jordan, she founded her own practice in 1999. She received the title of Consulting Engineer in only a short few years which was an exemption due to the quantity and quality of projects she had worked on.
She expanded to the United Arab Emirates in 2016 and founded her architecture practice in Dubai which caters to all of the emirates. Nisreen has completed over 500 projects ranging from mega projects such as airports, aircraft maintenance facilities, hotels, large scale residential and commercial buildings to private villas and mansions.
Inspired by American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, Nisreen cites modern, classic, and Spanish styles of architecture as her favorite. With an intuitive understanding of human psychology, and keeping Wright’s iconic values in mind, Nisreen designs structures that exceed her client’s expectations. She possesses exemplary skills at maneuvering between the mix of different design styles to suit the clients cultural and business needs. Through her work, her projects and her passion, Nisreen has created a unique place for herself in the Arab world of contemporary architecture which conforms with the unique Islamic culture.
